Become a protective and nurturing professional for your community with a 医学博士 (DMS) degree from 林肯纪念堂 University! Our goal is to improve and positively impact healthcare systems in regions and communities in need by preparing you and other highly qualified Physician Assistants (PA) with a fresh new set of advanced-level knowledge and medical skills.

Within the DMS degree, we offer two majors: clinical medicine and medical education. The clinical medicine major offers doctoral-level medical training to our PAs. Our medical education major, offer PAs a high-level educational expertise needed to design and deliver quality education to future clinicians.

Review our list of requirements to ensure your eligibility for the DMS program at LMU! To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

• 研究生d from an ARC-PA accredited program or international equivalent
• Currently possess a physician assistant certification (NCCPA or other); or an unencumbered licensure as a physician assistant in the United States or International Jurisdiction within nine months post matriculation
• Demonstrated potential for success in an advanced rigorous doctoral-level program (grade point average and extracurricular activities)
• No history of negative legal, 行政, or licensure action related to the practice of medicine or medical education
• Continuing to practice medicine as a physician assistant, or actively teaching in graduate medical education while enrolled in the program is preferred but not required

The program reserves the right to deny admission based on public professionalism issues. 

If you are interested in applying for the general medicine cognate, you must have earned a master's degree in physician assistant studies or equivalent from an ARC-PA accredited program within 9 months of matriculation into the DMS program.

如何申请

Review the following outlines for further instruction on applying for admission to the DMS program at LMU:

• 2024年夏天: If you are seeking part-time enrollment status for the clinical cognates or to complete the Medical Education cognate, you should apply for summer enrollment. The deadline to apply for summer admissions is April 15th. 
• 2024年秋季: If you are interested in completing the Clinical Medicine cognates (Primary Care, 内科医学, 急诊医学, 一般内科), you should apply for fall enrollment. The deadline to apply for fall admissions is July 15th.
• 2024年春季: If you are interested in customizing your curriculum plan, you should contact the Office of 招生 at dmsadmissions@ayleenskateboards.net. The deadline to apply for spring admissions is November 15th.

The admissions process at LMU operates on a rolling acceptance policy; thus, it is in your best interest to apply as early as possible.
