No veterinary practice is complete without a veterinary technician to assist the doctor with professional animal healthcare. Specially trained and holding extensive knowledge, the veterinary technician is responsible for both normal and abnormal life processes, medical and surgical nursing, delivering anesthesia, 诊断成像, and other important clinical laboratory procedures.
As a student in 林肯纪念堂 University's Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology (BS-VMT) program, you will be trained to build a career as a veterinary technician or another animal healthcare role. We are one of only 28 colleges or universities nationwide offering a veterinary medical technology program that is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities® (兽医CVTEA®). That means our program meets the highest academic standards so you can be assured the education and training you are receiving are top-notch.
